In 2026, Ad Valoris opens offices in Lausanne. Our historical offices are in Geneva, but the canton of Vaud has long been familiar ground: we have built trusted relationships there over many assignments, from industrial SMEs to public-sector institutions. These offices are therefore not an arrival: they give an address to a presence that is already very real. This opening grew out of the field rather than out of a plan: the share of our assignments in the canton kept growing, until it called for an address.

After careful preparation, the offices have been up and running since the beginning of July and are welcoming their first visitors at avenue de la Gare 33, in the heart of Lausanne.

Why the canton of Vaud?

The Vaud economy has a rare density: multinationals along Lake Geneva, industrial and service SMEs on a growth path, technology companies spun out of the universities, public institutions and foundations active in healthcare, education and research. To this comes a well-known challenge: turning this remarkable scientific potential into innovations that genuinely reach SMEs, artificial intelligence first among them.

From a multinational to a foundation, cultures and ways of deciding change entirely. One constant remains: the obligation to deliver concrete results. This is what we call the art of the concrete: staying involved over time, measuring the effects of our recommendations, and being accountable for results as much as for the quality of the analysis.

A local presence, closer to our clients

A transformation cannot be supported from a distance: it is built alongside the teams, in the decisions and trade-offs that shape their daily work. Being in Lausanne means being there day after day, close to our clients and in step with their projects. It also brings us closer to Fribourg, Neuchâtel and Valais, where we pursue our commitments with the same standards.

The team will grow through local hires: consultants who live in the canton as much as they work there, and who know its networks as well as its decision-making rhythms.

Supporting the growth of a dynamic canton

Alongside this economic strength comes one of the strongest demographic dynamics in Switzerland: new talent to integrate, new needs to serve, governance to adapt in order to sustain the movement.

Organisations that prepare today will approach this shift from a position of strength: our role is to help them do so.

This opening will be followed by several announcements over the coming months: more on this very soon.

Geneva in 2017, Lausanne in 2026: the same story continues. We look forward to continuing to write it alongside organisations across French-speaking Switzerland, on the ground and over time.
